The Flow #3

This painting depicts the idea of being part of a whole, of something bigger than oneself. We are constantly moving further through life, just like the moving stream of fish are traveling together through the depths of the ocean. In this painting I have harnessed a variety of blue hues to convey the serene atmosphere of the deep ocean, bringing tranquillity and depth to your home. The stream was first sculpted with a thick layer of modelling paste, then covered with acrylic paints, giving the movement a vivid, palpable quality.
